Geogrid, as an efficient geosynthetic material, is made from high-strength synthetic materials through special processes and widely used in various engineering projects, playing a key role.

1、 Road engineering

1. Reinforcement of new road base: Laying geogrids on the new road base can effectively disperse vehicle loads, reduce stress concentration on the road surface, and lower the risk of road cracking. If a road is built on soft soil foundation, the geogrid and base material work together to enhance the overall strength and stability of the base, and extend the service life of the road.

2. Old road reconstruction and reinforcement: In response to old road diseases such as pavement damage and settlement, laying geogrids can improve the bearing capacity of the pavement structure. Laying a grid on the milled old road surface and adding a new surface layer can constrain the displacement of road materials, prevent crack reflection, and improve the performance of the old road.

2、 Railway Engineering

1. Roadbed reinforcement: Railway operation requires high stability of the roadbed, and geogrids are used for roadbed filling to enhance the friction and biting force between the roadbed soil and prevent lateral displacement of the soil. Especially in complex road sections such as high fill and steep slopes, it effectively improves the anti-skid stability of the roadbed and ensures the safe and smooth operation of trains.

2. Reinforcement of ballast layer: Laying geogrids between the ballast layer and the roadbed can prevent the ballast from being embedded in the roadbed, maintain the integrity of the ballast layer structure, reduce the wear and loss of ballast particles, reduce track deformation, and extend the railway maintenance cycle.

3、 Water conservancy engineering

1. Dam reinforcement: Geogrid is applied to dam reinforcement, which can enhance the strength and stability of the dam soil. Layered laying during dam filling can improve the anti sliding and anti-seepage capabilities of the dam, prevent dam collapse, leakage and other problems caused by water level changes, water flow erosion, etc.
