On March 3, 2016, Vietnam launched an anti-dumping investigation against galvanized steel plates from China (including Hong Kong SPECIAL Administrative Region) and the Republic of Korea. On March 30, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued the Notice No. 1105/QD-BCT, which made a final affirmative ruling on the case, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of five years starting from April 14, 2017, and valid until April 13, 2022. On June 7, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued notice No. 1524/QD-BCT, launching the first sunset review of anti-dumping against products from China and the Republic of Korea.
